Vintage Sound and Modern Day Features
Black Lion Audio cut no corners to create a faithful recreation of the iconic 1176, but included modern day features to make it an absolute work horse. Working together with Chris Lord Alge they were able to painstakingly recreate his personal "bluey". Equipped with Two Cinemag Transformers, you can have the sound that creates hits right at your fingertips. An active Wet/Dry Mix Knob was included to achieve that agressive parallel compression sound with ease. On top of that, a stereo link feature was included to run your Bluey in stereo, perfect for Overheads, Acoustic Guitars, or even your Mix Bus.
Unique Mods
It wouldn't be a Black Lion Audio product without their unique modifications, pushing the envlope of what audio equipment can do. Uncovering years of mods done to CLA's own Bluey, they packed them all into one 500 series enclosure. They didn't stop there though, BLA faithfully recreated Chris Lord Algae's insert path of his famous SSL console. Now you can get the warm console sound right at home.
