4 x 4 Matrix Mixer with Auxiliary Pass-through

Eris is a four input, four output matrix mixer in 12hp. Each of the four inputs has a potentiometer to send it to any of the four outputs. The module is DC coupled to allow mixing of audio or CV signals, controlled by linear potentiometers. Gain for each channel is up to four times the input signal allowing for make up gain on a low signal, or overdriving a normal signal.

Additionally, the Eris provides an auxiliary input and output. This channel takes its input which it then sums it with the signal of the first output before sending both out the auxiliary output. There is a vactrol based mute circuit for soft muting (no clicks) of the auxiliary input.

Eris can easily as a 4 input mixer with the first output being the main output, then sending outputs 2, 3, and 4 to a number of effects, returning them to the Aux input, however you could also use it as a modulation matrix; as part of a cybernetic feedback circuit, so it can be used as a return channel for effects; or to mix a kick drum with your main signal, to easily bring it in and out of the mix; the options are limitless. What is certain is that Eris will play a valuable role in any setup.

There is a toggle switch on the back of the module to select unity gain or x2 gain for the Aux input.
