Measures the pitch of 6 guitar strings and outputs corresponding 1V/oct, amplitude, and synth oscillators
The Guitar Analyser module does full analysis of the signal of a typical six string guitar. It measures the individual pitch frequency and amplitude of each of the strings. The results of the analysis are output from the 3.5mm jacks of the module. They include the pitch note voltages either in the 1V/oct format or in a linear scale in the 6 left side jacks. The right side jacks provide either the corresponding string amplitudes, or 6 synthetic signals generated based on the analysis. A composite of the synthetic signals is also output separately. The analyzed data allows several effects to be activated to the synthetic signals, including vibrato, pitch bend, FM synthesis, or distortion. The effects can be controlled either by a guitar expression pedal or the front panel potentiometer.
The module can be used as an input interface to bring the guitar signal to a Eurorack system, or as a standalone guitar synthesizer generating signals that are impossible to create using typical filtering based modules.
