Dual DI box with 6.35 jack and XLR outputs
Two DI boxes, each block contains :
- 1 x mini-jack input
- 1 x 6.35 jack unbalanced output
- 1 x XLR balanced output
- 1 x -30dB attenuation pad switch
The pad switch acts on both the 6.35 jack and the XLR outputs.
If the pad is on "-30dB", you get a balanced mic level on the XLR output that can drive very long cable distances, and you have an unbalanced mic level on the 6.35 jack output, that can be very handy to plug your modular synth signal into a spare 6.35 mic input of DJ mixer for instance (e.g. Pionner DJM900 "Mic 2" input).
If the pad switch is raised off, the 6.35 jack output delivers a hot unbalanced line signal, and the XLR output delivers a balanced line level signal, the Dual DI is now a line preamp.
Input impedance : 22KΩ for all inputs
Output impedance : 100Ω for all outputs
