ARP 2600 4012 Filter Adaptation
After an extended haitus, Tonus VCF r3 is back and still that faithful Eurorack filter adaptation of the early MKI ARP 2600 synthesizers that you know and love. The one that captures the highly regarded 4012 4-pole ladder filter mojo. Version 3 struts all the same great filter sound and features as previous versions. 2 audio input signal mixing, 2 control voltage inputs, and those pretty illuminated 30mm throw Bourns sliders.
WHAT’S NEW IN VERSION 3 | All previous versions included matched/coupled and hand-stuffed transistors. As much fun was had doing this, these have been substituted by single-substrate encapsulated packages to expedite builds. Precision trimmers now allow better tracking of the resonance self-oscillation sinewave and optimum offset response for peak performance. CV1 is ideal for tracking the filter at v/oct, whereas CV2 now has slightly increased range. And Tonus VCF r3 is 10HP, because your case space is precious real estate.
FEATURES:
24 db/octave Lowpass Filter w/ Resonance
Illuminated Bourns Slider pots - Frequency, Fine Tuning, and Resonance.
Resonance can self-oscillate and can be a sinewave oscillator that tracks v/oct when using CV1.
Mix together two different audio sources at the input jacks w/ signal attenuation sliders.
Modulate the filter cutoff with two different control voltage inputs w/ signal attenuation sliders.
There are trim pots accessible on the back for adjusting frequency, tracking, offset, and gain.
This new slim design makes it skiff/boat-friendly.
