Discrete dual (12dB + 12dB) or single (24dB) state variable multimode filter based on L-1 Discrete Blacksea gain cells (VCAs)

The Discrete Dual VCF from L-1 is flexible and rich, whether used as a dual 12dB/oct filter or a single 24dB/oct filter. In parallel mode, the A and B inputs share a common set of controls, acting as two 12dB/oct filters with independent selectable low pass, band pass, and high pass operation. With the switch set to series, though, the filter becomes a single 24dB/oct filter and retains the ability to switch the two filter types. Add character to your sounds with the drive and resonance controls with CV over resonance. Control the filter cutoff with two attenuated CV inputs and a 1V/oct input. This filter sounds smooth and characterful with rich harmonics and the perfect amount of drive.
