EM-604 Glitch Stutter Delay
GLITCH produces a wide range of stutter and glitch delay effects. It contains three distinct modes: Threshold, Randomized and External Trigger—each of which can be selected via the onboard toggle switch and visualized via the three LED indicators.
In Threshold mode, the new glitch begins each time the circuit receives an input signal above the threshold level, which is set using the Sample Glitch Duration knob.
In Randomized mode, the sample duration is completely randomized, hence, the glitching effect is random.
In External Trigger mode, the glitch effect begins when the momentary button is pressed.
The Gate knob controls the degree to which the dry signal will be silenced when the glitching is activated. When the Gate knob is set to minimum, the dry signal is muted. Conversely, when the Gate knob is set to maximum, the dry signal is passed through unabated.
The Pitch Shifter section provides two octave up and two octave down shifting abilities, along with CV inputs for Pitch and Balance.
