Laboratory-grade banana jack to eurorack converter
The first instrumentation-grade Eurorack format converter.
The philosophy behind it is threefold:
Firstly, to connect test equipment to your Euro setup for easy setup and calibration of modules. Whether you are a serious DIYer or producing modules for sale, this will make life easier!
Secondly, to allow you to connect lots of really cool old signal generators made from the 1940s to the 1980s and beyond that are available cheaply, output enough signal to meet modular levels, and can be hooked into your Euro as mod sources and very "playable" drone oscillators that can take your production workflow back to the Stockhausen/Silver Apples roots of electronic music!
Thirdly, it can act as a standard format converter that can connect directly to a Serge or Phenol.
To achieve this, the module starts with quality US-made Pomona 2269 banana jacks, each of which has a dedicated ground terminal at standard 0.75" spacing so that external multimeters or oscillators can be easily connected with a standard two-conductor banana lead, or inexpensive standard BNC-to-dual-banana adapters can be used to connect oscilloscopes or wide-range signal generators.
Next, it provides a unique set of load switches. These allow:
*up to 4 channels of pass-thru synth connections between your Euro and, say a Serge or Phenol, or to externally terminated test gear; or
*up to 4 channels of 600-ohm terminated input to your Euro from low-level signal generators; or
*up to 2 channels of 600-ohm terminated input that has a 20dB attenuator pad, allowing connection of high-level tube-based signal generators (up to 5W) that could otherwise damage your Euro; plus
*up to 2 channels of output from your Euro to a voltmeter for CV calibration, each with a precision 100k 0.1% tolerance load to prevent measurement errors.
All other resistors are 1% industrial or military grade types carefully chosen for their ability to handle calculated power dissipation. All switches are long-life NKK.
Option 010 swaps the banana jacks for Pomona 4243 dual binding posts. As well as handling banana jacks, these can simultaneously have semi-permanent connection wires to, say, breadboard experiments, or arbitrary load resistors
Expected availability early January 2017.

These merchants probably sell this module. Huh?
