Two Nine Five is a Eurorack adaptation of the Buchla Model 295 comb filter, a ten-channel comb filter with center frequencies selected to complement the discrimination curve of the human ear. Separate unattenuated outputs and a summed output, with adjustable spectral shape, are provided. This unit is particularly useful for graphic equalization and for generating complex, time-varying timbral functions.
Two Nine Five has gain and frequency tuning available for the middle 8 bands. Individual outputs allow for VCA control of each band.
