MiniP7 a Minipops7 clone for looks and sound fitting 3U c 48hp
The MiniP7 is a Minipops7 clone wrt. looks and sounds.
The MiniPops7 has become famous by being used in a.o. Oxygene Parts 2-4-6, Equinoxe Part 5 and The concerts in China by JM Jarre.
The MiniP7 recreates these famous sounds and rhythms by partly re-using the original schematics and completely replacing all the inductors with negative capcitors (gyrators). Rhythms are being generated by a microcontroller. Additional features are the possibility to synchronise the unit with an external clock and ‘sync’ signal.
The MiniP7 has been designed to create the same visual feeling as the original, but without bending the frontpanel.
The unit is available as a 3U by 48 hp Eurorack module or as a standalone unit.
