half-size successor to the original Hackerboutique Destructo VCF-1.
dirty, lo-fi pentode tube filter/distortion/waveshaper with loads of unique character. 2x audio input with attenuator and 2x CV input (one with "Fuel" attenuator, one without". crank up Destroy to increase the gain and breakup. tone seems to vary quite a bit depending on the chosen LEDs with some builds sounding harsh and abrasive and others sounding smooth and round. some builds self-oscillate while others don't but most seem to tend towards blippy bit-crushing effects and subharmonic stutters at low input amplitudes. Frequency and Resonance knobs offer basic control over the filter core which seems to be more or less an HPF but both controls alter the filter frequency in a fashion similar to what you might find in a diode ladder filter - a fact which is consistent with the differences in tone based on LED selection. very sensitive to subtle changes in input level while the switch is in "skull" mode while "alien" mode seems more consistent and tame.
