Analog Three Waveform LFO Module
Behold. The Holmes Modular Low Frequency Oscillator. This circuit has been a basic staple in my Eurorack builds for several years. The circuit originates from the Niklas Ronnberg LFO schematic empowered by the simple and robust TL072 dual operational amplifier. It incorporates a skew adjustment that enables you to take the onboard triangle waveform output and turn it into saw/ramp waveform and also acts as a duty cycle adjustment to the onboard square wave output. You can obtain three different waveforms at cycle rates from 3 minutes well into audio ranges all within a tiny 2HP Eurorack format package. You may select between slower and faster cycle rates with the selection toggle switch.
You can also set the width or Peak to Peak voltage of the LFO with the potentiometer on the back of the module from 0 to 20V Peak to Peak. I like to have one of these LFO's set up for 20V Peak to Peak, one set up at 10V Peak to Peak and one set up at 5V Peak to Peak in my rack so that I can quickly plug into whatever "size" LFO wave I need. They may be further dampened easily with external attenuation to ground without harming the module.
We have added the now infamous MB1S rectifier for "Either way" power plugging. You may plug the power cable in both ways. There is no key or red stripe indicator on the power connector. Custom tall trimming knobs had to be designed and 3D printed from TPU filament to use these LFO's with full size and strength genuine Alpha potentiometers. No skimping on hardware! These modules were built to last, stand out and have a unique feel. They are only one PCB or 21mm deep including power connector. Great for small and shallow skiff cases.
The HMLFO module comes with a Eurorack power cable and M3 mounting screws.
These modules are built on a small run/boutique basis and will only be in stock for purchase from the original builder for a limited amount of time.
