3-in-1 analog effects - overdrive, filter, sample and hold
Poodle Face is a 3-in-1 fully analog dirty good time. Three unique effects that can be used individually or collectively. Self-patching is encouraged!

OVERDRIVE:
Discrete analog overdrive circuit inspired by the mini Moog mixer section. Tonal characteristics vary depending on the amplitude of your source signal. Ranging from soft-saturiation to full blown transistor overdrive. Use the second pair of in/out to feed signal back into itself. Or, send your overdriven signal into the neighboring filter and then back into the overdrive for untamed feedback effects. This circuit is designed to be pushed to the max! For line-level signals, it's recommended scaling up to Eurorack levels for best results.
FILTER:
Classic OTA-style analog high-pass/lowpass resonant filter. The filter can be soft and sweet, or, add a little resonance and prepare for some angry screams. For both lo & hi pass configurations, the filter is capable of self-oscillation that can be used as a dirty sine wave oscillator. Volt per octave pitch tracking, and CV modulation with attenuator included for full control over the shape of your sound.
SAMPLE & HOLD:
A precision sample & hold circuit with low droop rate. Fully analog. Normalled internal clock is configured for audio rate decimation effects to mid-speed sample & hold. However, the external clock input allows you to use this S&H section as a traditional sample and hold (semi-random/stepped voltage source, sample rate reduction)
EXAMPLE PATCH:
for something extremely filthy and grainy, patch a bass line into the "sample" input, out from "bits" and into "in drive", out from "OD out" and into "IN Filter", out from "out filt" back into "feedback", and finally, out from the 2nd "OD out" and into your mixer.
