MIDI-Stepsequencer, generic Arduino platform
The fanwander VMC-1 is a generic module, which combines an ARDUINO NANO with a display, five buttons, three digital-inputs and two control voltage inputs with amount control. This module may run various software.
The module requires a fanwander MIDI-ITO or fanwander MIDI-3IT + MIDI-OOO
SQ-3P and SQ-4M is software to run on the VMC-system. The programs provide a MIDI step sequencer inspired by the sequencers in the Roland JX-3P and SH-101.
SQ-3P is a single track polyphonic step sequencer with 64 steps. The velocity is controlled by a voltage.
There are various transpose and clocking modes incl. step by step clocking, MIDI-clock, DIN-sync.
The SQ-4M is a step sequencer with 16 monophonic tracks and 32 steps for each track.
Each track can send a note command or a control change command or provide velocity or transposition values for other note tracks. The track length and clock divider ratio can be selected individually for each track

Remark on the power consumption: the module can be supplied either via +12V or via +5V. Due to the converter losses, the power consumption is approximately 10% higher if supplied via +12V than via +5V. As for all digital modules supply via +5V is recommended to avoide digital noise.
