The BOOLs is a logic module that takes four inputs, and outputs the Boolean logic result of the following combinations: 1:2, 2:3, 3:4, and 4:1 The module is socketed for standard 4000-series CMOS logic ICs, and can thus take any 14-pin 4000-series IC provided its pinout is power on 14, ground on 7, logic inputs on 1,2,5,6,8,9,12,13, and logic outputs on 3,4,10,11 The module for sale (featured in the linked YouTube demo) has a CD4070 installed, which is the quad XOR. You could also use a 4001 (NOR), 4011 (NAND), 4071 (OR), 4081 (AND), or 4077 (XNOR). In addition to the four logic outputs, there is also a stepped voltage output that presents an attenuated sum of the logic states of the four gates (i.e. a stepped voltage with four levels). And a sampled-and-slewed version of that voltage as well.
