This type of amplification is primarily used to amplify audio, rather than the radio frequency amplification perpetrated by its predecessor. Compared to the initial Tube VCA, which makes use of a 1Ж24Б tube (which promotes high-frequency amplification), the 2П2П sounds much cleaner and is ideal for bass processing.
