What is it?
Tymkrs presents the H2A module, a 3hp Eurorack module which converts an HDMI input into left and right line-level audio outputs and a composite video output (PAL/NTSC) via 1/8” jacks.

This module can be used to get HDMI sources into your composite video synthesizer modules! If you’re looking for a module that can turn the output of your composite video synthesizer back into an HDMI signal, check out the Tymkrs A2H Eurorack module! This module should be particularly useful to owners of the Tymkrs GlitchCRT dirty video mixer.

The reversible faceplate gives you two options - Either white background/black lettering or white background with silver lettering! The module will come to you as the default white background/black lettering. If you'd like to change it to the white background/silver lettering, just unscrew the nuts on the front, flip the panel, and re-screw the nuts!

Why did you make it?
We wanted to be able to use HDMI video sources with our Tymkrs GlitchCRT Eurorack module and needed a way to convert the HDMI into Composite Video and Line-level audio! This has been extremely useful in bringing in youtube videos, Winamp audio visualizations, and even live camera feeds into our composite video synthesizer!

Usage Examples:
* Take a Youtube video or audio visualizer from your computer and have it be one of the glitched video sources for GlitchCRT. You can also use the audio from that video as audio input into the GlitchCRT to glitch out the video!
* Use the line-level outputs of the H2A as input into your Eurorack set-up! Great for those situations when you want to take music from online, and put it through your own effects chain!
* Use this and the GlitchCRT to create an AV switcher between different video sources! Connect the HDMI source to the H2A and the H2A to the GlitchCRT, and you have the ability to switch between at least 3 different video sources!
