Use any light source to modulate control voltage. The light dependent resistor (LDR) only lets voltage pass through in the presence of light, the more light, the more voltage can pass. Use a light to open up the attenuation of the cv input. use varying light and shadow to create complex LFOs. also a nice addition to your rack if you play a gig at a nightclub with a nice light show, it will give you some randomisation.
