non-interactive audio recorder
Raspberry PI Zero based audio recorder that silently records all your happy little accidents directly to an USB stick.
There is no need to start or stop recording manually. Its all done automatically as soon as the incoming audio level exceeds a configurable treshold and an USB stick is plugged in.
The incoming audio is normalized to the output jacks.
The potentiometers of each channel only affects the recording volume to avoid clipping (indicated by LEDs)
Similar to footage creating surveillance devices you can only access the most recent recordings. The oldest recordings gets deleted automatically to free space for new recordings on the USB stick.
With the mode switch you can choose between mono, dual-mono and stereo recordings.
With the marker button on the bottom you can create a marker for easier finding specific recordings on the USB stick (filenames of the recordings are just date and time)
Holding the tiny pushbutton for 2 seconds unmounts the USB stick for unplug
