Pressing the Pad Generates a Gate Signal
Pressing the Pad Generates a Velocity (Vel) Signal. This signal will vary depending on how the Pad is struck.
Pressing the Pad generates a Pressure signal. This signal will vary depending on how the Pad is pressed.
Turning the CV knob will vary the signal when the pad is pressed.
Turning the Press knob effects the attack and release response of the Pad at the Press and Velocity outputs. This can be useful for swells, bowed sounds or other modulation destination.
Pressing the Pad generates Gate, Velocity, CV and Pressure signals, simultaneously at their corresponding outputs.
Striking the Pad generates a simple envelope. For example: this output could be used as a pitch envelope for drum sounds.
Turning this knob varies the shape of the envelope.
This switch allows for single gate per strike and in the other position gives you a gate on the strike and on the release of the pad. Turning the Press knob alters the relationship between the strike and release behavior.
