Module is available as a DIY project only.
This Module is a prototype or in a concept phase.
Frequency Divider with two interacting Inputs and Sine Outputs
Frequency Divider with Octaves an Quints
Both Inputs have a Comparator-Circuit with 2 Thresholds and generate 4 Pulses per Cycle of the Input Signal
- This allows to generate a stagered Waveform similar to a Sinewave on all Outputs, there are up to 32 Stages on the "Divide by 8"-Signal.
- On the other Hand: The Output depends on the Level of the Input Signal, therefore it is interesting to use an adjustable (or Voltage controlled) Attenuator for the Input Signal.
- The Pulses of the two Input Signals are added for the Divider Section of the Circuit, resulting in an Effect that resembles to a Ringmodulator.
- The upper Input is normalized to the lower Input with an additional Attenuator in between, resulting in a doubling of the Output Frequency. When used this way, the "Divide by 2"-Output has the same Frequency as the Input-Signal and the "Divide by 8"-Output is only 2 Ovtaves lower then.
- The Mixer Section finally allows to sum the five individual Divider Outputs to one Output.
The Module is actualy a first Prototype only.
