Advanced Dual 8-Step Sequencer
Introducing Giardiniera, a dual 8-step quantized sequencer module for Eurorack that has been meticulously developed over the past few months. This project is a true labor of love, combining innovative design with open-source firmware to create a highly musical and versatile device.
At its core, Giardiniera features two independent 8-step sequencers. Each sequence is quantized and offers individual clock division that is CV controllable. In addition, the module provides two extra quantized outputs—one with probabilistic control that selects between the two sequences, and another that outputs a blend of both sequences.
The module also comes equipped with an onboard clock and three additional trigger outputs, expanding its performance capabilities. With the current firmware, you can explore seven different musical scales along with range control, opening up a wide palette of creative possibilities.
The firmware is fully open source and, while it is already about 95% complete, it is set to continuously evolve with new features and improvements. Like my other projects, Giardiniera requires only a few additional components—potentiometers, jacks, switches, and 3mm LEDs—to be fully operational.
