Containing several pieces to a traditional synthesizer voice, the Synchrodyne is a powerful addition to any subtractive oriented system. However, it is designed primarily as an experimental sound source/filter, intended to push the limits of modular synthesis.

power draw measured in 2021 with a joranalogue test3 - while idle, it hovers around +/- 80-90 mA, but will peak as high as +113/-100 under moderate cv control
