Derived from the Funkzilla and designed to be pedalboard-friendly, the Funk-lite from Solidgoldfx is a simple, all-organic sounding envelope filter with a pure (100%) analog signal path – and its control set is perfectly intuitive. The Frequency corresponds to where in the dynamic range the filter is placed, the Depth controls the intensity of the effect and the Attack knob adjusts the effects response to both the player’s picking dynamic and the instrument itself. It also features a two-way Direction switch so players can determine which direction the effect swells, adding to its breadth of abilities. With the right settings, this pedal is able to range from a subtle waver to a deep and well-defined effect, making it perfect for working in conjunction with other pedals or standing alone as a tone-shaper.
