Twisted Electrons MegaFM

Dual Yamaha YM2612 FM synth

The Twisted Electrons MEGAfm is a powerful yet compact Desktop Synthesizer with FM Synthesis. The MEGAfm is a 12-Voice Instrument which uses 2x YM2612 FM Chips and simultaneously provides 4x Operators, which are linked together in 8x Algorithms. 8x Faders per Operator allows for quick adjustment and matching of Ratios and Parameters. These YM2612 FM Chips are the sound of the Megadrive/Genesis Games Console.

FM Sounds
The Sounds come to life with 3x flexibly assignable LFOs, each of which can be re-triggered and synchronized to MIDI Clock. The Feedback can be adjusted globally for each Algorithm. You can also influence the distribution of the Voices; the Unison Mode is simply amazing, whilst the Vibrato Effect gives your sounds the final touch. The flexible Arpeggiator cuts a fine figure as a playing aid and even a simple Step Sequencer has been integrated. 6x Banks with 100x Memory Locations each allow you to record the created Sounds. The complete MIDI implementation should suit all those who want to control the MEGAfm from a Groovebox or with a DAW.
