Modded Tube Screamer
The TS-809 is inspired by the Analogman Silver Modded Tube Screamer™. It takes the beloved Tube Screamer™ sound and adds clarity and a professional sheen. If you have ever wanted a Tube Screamer™ that sounds a little more 3 dimensional and a little less boxy, all without losing the signature Tube Screamer™ sound, then this is the pedal for you.
The TS-809 features a second footswitch for adding a fixed +6dB clean boost, perfect for bringing out solos. The boost section is after the TS-809's clipping section and will not add distortion aside from whatever distortion that occurs from boosting harder into your amp. Also, the Drive control features an extended range compared to traditional Tube Screamers™, allowing it to get both cleaner and more distorted.
The TS-809 features true bypass switching. It does NOT run on batteries and must be used with a standard 9V power supply. Any 9V power supply made for pedals will work.
