About the Unicorn Account

Description

The Oxford Drive is the replica of the Shredmaster high gain distortion pedal, but with more gain, more volume, extra clipping options, true bypass and top mount jacks in a small 1590B enclosure. There are three clipping modes: silicon, LED and asymmetric.Silicon mode is the "basic" setting. The LED mode (Radiohead 90's sound) is inspired by the LED clipping found on the Guv'nor and Drivemaster pedals, both of which have circuitry similar to the Shredmaster. The LED clipping has a more "open" sound due to a higher clipping threshold, and is well suited to rhythmic playing. The unbalanced mode is an unusual silicone/LED hybrid, which offers a wide dynamic range while providing the warm, fat sound associated with unbalanced clipping.Perfect for players who crave a punchy midrange and a balanced low end, the Oxford Drive adds clarity and definition, making it great for both rhythm and lead guitar work. Thanks!
