As the name suggests, the distortion level starts quite high and then continues into unbridled high gain, but always very musical. With the tone control (treble, bass and parametric mids (middle & range), the sound can be adjusted from modern mid-scooped to classic hard rock. The pedal is technically in perfect order. All pots work perfectly, the foot switch works cleanly without cracking. However, the housing is slightly bumped at the edges and has many fine scratches (see photo). The knobs show wear on the surface. Velcro tape on the back, which could of course be removed.Normal, conventional 9 V connection (negative inside, positive outside). Battery compartment for 9 V block under cover with quick-release fastener, so easy to reach without screws.Very solid technology from Japan. Robust and heavy metal housing. Very good sound.
