Description

This is a 1979-80 ROSS COMPRESSOR with LEVEL letters, the final specification of the original US-made model. It is one of the synonyms of pedal type compressors along with MXR Dyna Comp, and was released around 1978. The COMPRESSOR letters under the footswitch are also smaller than the one on the 1978 model. This is a 1979-80 model, the last of the original US-made models, using a 1979 37th week pot and a 1979 RCA 3080E op amp with 2SC1849 transistor. It is one of the masterpieces with a natural-sound comp feel and sustain, an enhancement effect that emphasizes the contours of each string, well resonance when chord-strokes, and well resonant high notes, as well as moderate boost and softness.Although there are some minor scratches and paint damage, the genuine rubber cover for the battery is still in relatively good condition, and although many copy models, reissue models, and inspirational compressors have been released as reference models by many manufacturers, this is one of those models that cannot be reproduced even with the latest technology which is the one and only sound that has a natural compressor feel and a booster-like element.Serial number: 57455Accessories: -Test and inspection included. No offering, sorry._____________________________________________________________The item is also selling on Japanese market. The stock info can be updated lagged. We appreciate your understanding.
