Delay and reverb have always been a match made in heaven. A+ Everest is just that: delay and reverb running in parallel. Three modes - bright and cutting Sunshine, mild and woozy Eclipse, whirly and psychedelic Moonshine - provide access to an immense sonic palette.ModesThe three-position MODE switch selects one of the three available modes:SUNSHINE (down) is the bright mode, reminiscent of a clear and frosty day atop Mount Everest. The cold and sparkling delay repeats will send shivers down your spine (especially if you are playing a guitar with single coils), while the self-oscillating reverberation may cause an avalanche! In the SUNSHINE mode, no filtering is used for delay repeats and no phase distortion is applied to reverb reflections.ECLIPSE (middle) is the dark mode. The sun has set, the snow is sparkling no more, and the mountain's milder beauty is revealed. Modulated delay repeats and solemn reverb tails will surely get you in the mood for an atmospheric masterpiece. In the ECLIPSE mode, the delay goes through a 6dB/Oct filter. Phase distortion is applied to modulated reverb tails, causing a high-end roll-off.MOONSHINE (up) is the psychedelic mode. If making contact with the mysterious inhabitants of the Himalayas interests you more than admiring Mount Everest's natural beauty, this mode is right up your alley. Octaves added to delay repeats and reverb reflections will make you lose track of time and transport you to a whole different dimension! In the MOONSHINE mode, an octave up is added to filtered delay repeats, while the dry signal bypasses the filter. High frequencies are naturally rolled off as the volume decreases. An octave down is mixed in with the reverb reflections. ControlsThe REVERB knob controls the reverb's volume. Turn this knob fully CCW to disengage the reverb. The MIX knob controls the volume of the wet signal. The dry signal's volume is unaffected. The REGEN knob simultaneously controls delay feedback and reverb decay. The TIME knob controls delay time and slightly affects reverb decay. Turn this knob fully CCW to disengage the delay. The MODE switch selects one of the three modes: Sunshine, Eclipse or Moonshine.
