I picked this Ampli Firebox from Atomic some years back to dive in to amp modeling and it has been a great piece of gear. It sounds amazing, through headphones, an FRFR speaker, or the effects loop return of a traditional guitar amp. This pedal scales back on features to provide quality modeling. It can be switch between 9 different amp models/setups using toggle switches and these can be configured using software from Atomic. It has actual knobs for EQ, gain, volume, reverb, and presence so in many ways it feels like a real amp. Best of all, this behaves like a real amp. Roll back on your guitar's volume (or pick lighter) and dirty tones clean up. It takes pedals very well and is small enough to sit on a pedalboard with a bunch of effect pedals. It has both XLR and 1/4 inch outputs and with the flip of a switch you can turn on/off speaker cabinet simulation to either of these outputs. So why am I selling it? I've moved on to a larger modeling pedal that can replace all of my effects pedals as well. Tone wise, this pedal is just as good as my new one and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
