MIT Boss SD-1 Super Overdrive, w/JRC4558DD chip. You want a vintage MIJ sound on an MIT budget, this is it.The MIJ and MIT SD-1s are basically identical. They both use the JRC4558 IC (I believe). The Taiwanese version uses the JRC4558DD, which I think is supposed to be lower noise compared to the JRC4558D. Basically, you won't hear any differences in the two pedals since the circuits are identical...I couldn't tell any difference when I had a chance to try a MIJ model. Even Boss has denied the rumours that the MIJ and MIT pedals sound different from each other.Any other pictures needed or questions, please ask! no refund,..Check out my other listings for more cool vintage stuff.
