This thing is simple and sounds great - I really only kept it for the Plate sound because at higher settings it can get huge and dreamy. I recently got a subdecay spring theory which has a sneaky room mode that can get massive and 'dreamy' as well but in a very different way. I wish the subdecay unit had some of that plate sound magic in this keeley pedal, but the extended control of wet/dry volume and a little more tonal control on spring settings landed me on the subdecay. I would love to give this pedal to my buddy Edwin or maybe someone else if it doesn't sell soon - it's solid and a great starting point if you want some versatile and dead simple reverb sounds. if you want to get really nuts, check out old blood noise endeavors - and if you want super basic spring sounds maybe look at a malekko spring chicken or that nifty spring tank with two depth settings by JHS. or. get a spring tank. Cheers!
