The Del Mar was conceived in an effort to add a Tubescreamer-style clipping stage to the Klon Centaur. The original version became so popular after it was discontinued that they did a small re-release in 2019, with a few improvements to the original circuit which they later included in their latest design. I purchased this new direct from Bondi Effects, and have used it maybe a dozen times or so for recording. It's a fantastic drive that's in mint condition and has primarily been stored in its pouch in the box on my pedal shelf. Time to move this along to someone who will use it so I can fund some new gear!
