V846-HW Wah Pedal The V846-HW is a wah pedal that takes wah pedals to new heights with its turret board hand-wired wiring.
The internal circuitry of the V846-HW uses turret board hand-wired wiring, which is achieved by the handwork of highly skilled craftsmen, rather than using any printed circuit boards. The artistically beautiful hand-wired wiring provides an ideal and streamlined signal path, making the V846-HW the ultimate wah pedal that instantly responds to the subtle changes in the guitarist's touch.
True-bypass circuitry. The V846-HW is more than just a reissue of the old V846. To meet the needs of today's guitarists, the V846-HW features a new true bypass circuit. This minimizes the effect on sound quality, such as sound loss when the wah pedal is turned off.
Vintage inductors and pots bring back legendary sounds. The inductor, the heart of the wah pedal, is a vintage Halo type inductor that has been specially voiced. Careful selection of magnetic materials and winding methods were used to perfectly reproduce the wah sound of the V846, which is sought after by guitarists around the world. For the pot, an original VOX pot with a sealed design, excellent durability, and unique curve characteristics is used. The V846-HW offers unprecedented control and sensitivity to even the position just before the pedal is depressed, which is difficult to control with ordinary wah pedals due to its smooth curve characteristics.
To maximize the potential of the wah pedal, a group of parts were carefully selected. The carbon composite resistors are made in Japan by Kamaya Electric.
