Up for sale, a 1977 Roland Boss BF-1 Flanger in excellent condition and in perfect working order. The BF-1 was the first flanger produced by Boss, and this particular well-kept example dates to the first year of production. Flanging effects range from mild chorus and vibrato to swooping airplane whooshes, achieved with the Manual, Depth, Rate and Resonance knobs. Among the long line of Boss flangers, the BF-1 is well-regarded for its notable warmth, with a particularly lush, full quality.
There are just a few minor marks on the enclosure, with all of the original knobs present and clean graphics. The "Made in Japan" black foil label is intact on the baseplate, and the serial number sticker is present inside the enclosure, dating production to October, 1977.
