This is the JHS Pedals Superbolt overdrive. The Superbolt emulates the sound and feel of the old and rare Supro tube amps. These are the sounds from the first two Led Zeppelin albums. It's been on the pedalboards of Noel Gallagher, Robben Ford, Josh Klinghoffer of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dustin Kensrue of Thrice, Dweezil Zappa and tons of others. Here's a rundown of the controls: DRIVE: This is the input gain of the Superbolt. Turning it clockwise increases the dirt, compression and sag of a vintage Supro amp being pushed to its limits.TONE: This is the EQ knob. Turning it clockwise makes the tone brighter. Turning it counter-clockwise makes the tone warmer.VOLUME: This is the output volume of the pedal. Once the other knobs are set where you like, you can set this to unity gain with your dry signal. Or you can crank up the VOLUME and boost your tube amp to natural overdrive.GAIN: This toggle switches between two gain levels. The LED is red in high gain, and blue in low gain. This Superbolt is in very good condition. The electronics work perfectly. The pots, jacks and switches are all clean and quiet. It will come in the original box. You can power this pedal with a 1Spot or Boss PSA-style ac/dc adapter, or your standard 9-volt pedalboard power supply.
