About the Unicorn Account

Description

This old girl sounds amazing and has some nice features that make it better than your stock biphase. First off it’s been modified with a CV input over the control of the phase. So if you’ve got a modular synth setup or a midi to CV converter you can sequence the phase to follow the song. This is an awesome sound and something you dont hear every day. Endless fun. It also has a CV out for the internal LFO which is cool. Second the inputs on the front have been moved to the back so if you have the Mutron racked it can sit on a shelf looking pretty without the cable spaghetti that usually happens with BiPhases. Third and probably most important this unit has the foot controller which can be used to change the speed of the internal LFO or just adjust the sweep on both phasors at the same time. Can I just say, if you do this with a stereo phasor setup it sounds INSANE. the unit does show its age and has some dings and scratches but it is solid and works flawlessly. The original foot switch is worn and a bit rusty but with the foot controller you don’t need it anyway. Also included is a cute vintage suitcase lined with foam to keep it safe. It’s not a museum piece or anything but it’s got an awesome sounds and some real special mods to make it one of a kind.
