Drum Synth
This is a vintage Coron DS-7 Drum Synce (model DC860). A treasure from the 80s, the DS-7 is a triggered, programmable analog synth. Coron was the maker of many awesome guitar effects pedals from the 70s into the 80s, and this is was one of their first electronic endeavors into drum territory. The box has a screw mount to attach to the rim of a drum or whatever else you can fit it to, and with its internal piezo element, the box itself becomes the vibrational trigger. If you prefer to use the Drum Synce as a "brain", you can hook up external triggers as well. Set the box to control the sound of the synth with this parameters:
Volume: controls the output volume
Sensitivity: controls the sensitivity of the module (the threshold at which it is triggered)
Rate: controls the speed/rate of the LFO wave that controls the pitch
Decay: controls the length of the sound
Mode: controls the depth of the LFO wave that controls the pitch
VCO: controls the pitch of the Oscillator
Sweep: controls the range in which the oscillator sweeps
