THICK FUZZ

WHAT: 2-transistor silicon fuzz with input filter & master volume.
INSPIRATION: Vox built-in amp and guitar fuzz modules designed for silicon that result in a thick fuzz.
CIRCUIT SAUCE: Hand-picked low and medium gain transistors, sorted to give sustain and cleanup at your fingertips (guitar volume). Fuzz intensity set just below max. Low pass filtering of unwanted noise and a selectable high pass filter for fuzz flavor.
SOUND: Heavy, sustaining fuzz or a brighter, more vintage fuzz. This fuzz likes to be 1st in the signal chain, or at least before any buffer to preserve the cleanup effect.

Filter Toggle: Up position- thick silicon transistor fuzz; Down position- less saturated fuzz with a bass cut that simulates a treble boost.

Made with silicon transistors sorted for gain and bias- a combination of 2n3053 and 2n2222A 🍑
