Random Voltage Source + Chaos Oscillator
Description Coming Soon!
Quote from the original WoggleBug Manual
"The Woggle Bug is an utterly unique module that produces
complex random voltages and tones. It reproduces the set of
random voltages available from the original Buchla Model 265
"Source of Uncertainty" module. This long out of production
module is representative of the most musical random voltage
generators produced in the first "Golden Age" of modular
synthesizers. The design has been enhanced with the
addition of 4 audio rate oscillators and 4 XOR gates which
produce the effect of ring modulation or “klang” tones."
With added Track&Hold +Disrupt functions.
Permission given to reproduce in 4U by Grant Richter and Tony Rolando (MakeNoise)
** 4U Modular is a term used for the format most commonly known as “Serge Format” or “Loudest Warning Format”. Out of respect for the ever growing format, 4U Modular is the easiest way to refer to it. More Specifically it refers to the panel height and mounting hole style. 4U Modular will patch up just fine with other 4U "Serge" formats such as "Random Source", but it will not mount in RS boats or Buchla Boats (or power off Buchla power for that matter). An info page about this will be added to the website soon to make this a lot more easy to understand.
These merchants probably sell this module. Huh?
