This Module is a prototype or in a concept phase.
Quadrature phase decoder
This module decodes a quadrature pair (running from subsonic to supersonic) into a 6-bit encoding of phase position and a corresponding staircase output, both of which are available as both CV and audio outputs. Because the circuitry is a combination of analogue and digital logic, it has interesting imperfections which can be amplified by running harmonically complex shapes, and different frequencies, into the two inputs. Each input has an audio and a CV input-the CV input can interact with the audio to provide quasi-gating effects by adding offsets.
The degree to which the phase accumulation is distorted is shown in the relative intensity of the "wheel" of 32 indicators on the front panel.
Available in 2019.
