Mixer/Preamplifier Model 207 by Black Corporation & Buchla
The Model 207 is an all-analog Buchla classic reissue faithful to the original 207 from over 40 years ago, with only slight modernization of the circuit construction for better performance. Like the contemporary 207e, the 207 is a 6 in, 2 out mixer with level and stereo adjustments for each channel, plus a preamplifier, and voltage control over panning of channels 1 and 2.
The basic channel configuration is the same as the modern 207e, but only the reissued original 207 has per-channel program and monitor switches and monitor output. The reissue has Expansion In ports, which allows you to link two modules for 12 in, 2 out mixing capabilities.
Features:
• Six independent inputs, two outputs with two separate monitor outputs
• Integrated preamp with high/low impedance switch, gain and gain offset switch, and dedicated preamp output
• Six program switches (zero-click mutes)
• Six monitor switches for muting channels to monitor out
• Channels 1 + 6 with voltage-controlled panning (channel 1 is panned hard left; channel 1 is panned hard right), plus left/right LED lamp panning indications
• Expansion in for linking units without attenuators, control assignment, or monitor access (for 12x2 operation, with monitors)
These merchants probably sell this module. Huh?
