Thanks guys! Looking to replacing something here with a 4vox oscillator!!!

That something would need to be some 30HP wide I reckon...
Whatever, just throw the scraps my way, I'll take care ;-)

Looks like an awesome and powerful first rack! Enjoy the explorations!

Much exploration work ahead there, Aaron.
Some of those modules are pretty deep...
Congrats!
Can you please share the full specifications of this module?
What are the specifications for its hardware components?
What are the specifications for its amplification circuit?
So much for uScale, Dynamic Destiny, Branches, Telharmonic, second Tides or Peaks, etc.
Options for last 4hp:
* Mutable Instruments Links
* Manhattan Analog Mixer
* Doepfer Quad Sequential Switch
* SSF Quantum Rainbow 2
It was a pleasure doing business with:
@meltermusic - provided payment quickly
@grieve - 4ms SISM. Packed well and shipped quickly. Module in great condition.
@Jorrit Dijkstra - uVCA II. Packed well and shipped quickly. Module in great condition.
I'd do business with any of these guys again!
Hi, just wanted to let you know that I had a great, friendly and quick transaction with @heren
Highly recommended!
Had a great experience purchasing from @davidjames - got a great PM Analog Replicator module from him today.
Also sold two modules to @bobpayne and he was a pleasure to sell to.
Maybe it's just me and I haven't yet discovered the right way to use this. I would like to be able to select the format of module I want to see, 3u, 1u or both. However when the 1u box is unchecked (by default), both 3u and 1u modules are listed.
So something like this
[x] 1u / tiles
[x] 3u / modules
with both controls individually selectable, would give me a chance to view 1u or 3u or both.
Lest I forget, great work so far on the 1u integration.
Can i use just cable. Like. vco > effect > effect > mixer? Without keyboard or sequencer ?

If you just want drones, by all means. Then your patch will simply depend on your manual control and processing.
You will want triggers to make thinks happen and control voltages to define pitches to be played by your oscillator/s.
Any module/s doing that can play your patch. For example, a LFO can be used to trigger an evelope that shapes notes out of your continuous OSC output. The same CV from an LFO (or an envelope or other CV source ) can be used to produce pitches for your OSC, combined with a quantizer to cut steps in your gliding OSC if you want to play musical scales. So yes, no keyboard or sequencer needed.

There's many ways to 'run' a modular patch. Sequencers, random modules (wogglebug, Turing Machine, etc) touch plates (pressure points, Sputnik touch keyboard) or even midi-CV modules such as the uMIDI from intellijel.
It depends on the type of patches you want to make.
Hello everyone! i want to get into eurorack ,but do i have to get a sequencer to "play"? Or is there another way? Without keyboard. Thank you!
Thank you @logankeller for buying. Pleasure doing business with you!
Would you think, that this is working?
thx for help....

In the last two weeks 3 out of 4 modules I received needed to go back for repair.
All three for minor issues, and both the manufacturers offered refunds for the shipments and free repairs which is nice, but why isn't there a quality control step in their chain of work?
I understand that this companies aren't corporates like Roland or Korg, but because of this they sell less units and controlling them should be easier to manage.
I just don't get it... I'm so mad.
This is definitely more than 10 hp, but I tried 11 and 12, and it didn't seem to fit the picture. Does anyone know?
2 clouds...clever!

Well, you need one for the Oliverb and the other for all the mentalist granular business :-)

Could replace Triatt here with ...
Thanks for the feedback, I've been looking at Frames as I'm going through a MI phase at the moment but i'm still researching this area.
I'm currently using a BeatStep Pro & Korq SQ1 for sequencing which I'm pretty happy with, however, I'd love to get my hands on a Rene!
Also, I'm sending all the audio into a studio firewire mixer - straight into my DAW which works well for me :-)
Well, I would possibly feel complete with half of that. But if you really have cash burning holes in your pocket, you might want to get a CV recorder/player (PH01,Quad CVRecorder), some sequencing logic (Gatestorm, René, Trigger Riot) , or some serious mixing/routing (Frames, VCA Matrix, ADDAC802). Not that you couldn't go just about anywhere you wanted, as it is ;-) Also, how do you control all this? Some wheels, joysticks, sliders, (Nunchuk?) etc. seem appropriate to put control in your hands.
I would get a powerful mixer first. You might want to control all those audio and CV streams with minimal effort from a central spot.
I second that!
It really adds lots to the already wonderful capabilities of Warps without losing the main functionalities.
A win win!
Hi Guys n Gals,
I was wondering "what's next" for my rack? I have a BSP and Korg SQ1 for sequencing duties and a System 1m in another rack.
It feels that I've ok for VCO and modulation, maybe another filter???
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance!
J
If you've got Warps I'm sure you've already installed the Parasite firmware, if not, DO IT :-)
http://mqtthiqs.github.io/parasites/warps.html
I'd highly recommend all of these alt firmwares.
I'm also on OSX I've found using the 1m via USB rather fustrating. It initially worked, however literally the following day it wasn't been recognised in my DAW (Logic X).
How did you overcome this issue (if you had any issues at all that is...).
On saying that, I've reverted to using oldskool MIDI (for polyphony) and CV (when patched up) more opten than not.
Great little synth though, I really like it's sound.
Hi folks! I'm selling my Doepfer lc6 Case with all Mutable Instruments modules. For the moment I want it to be in just one sale, as a pack, that's why i don't want offer modules one by one on the Marketplace.
Price: 2600 euros
Any suggestions or offers, please private message me.

Now read up.
Not everything I have has a manual and the manual may say out, but not all the options that out could mean.
But thanks. hopefully I wont smoke anything.
In general, there is no fundamental difference between audio and CV, both are just voltages. What makes them one or the other is the receiving end. E.g. there is not much use in listening to 1V of DC, but add that voltage to the 1v/Oct input of a VCO and it will play one octave higher. Avoid patching together OUTs of modules that produce a voltage. Other than that I , go ahead and try. When unexpected things happen, unplug and try to figure out what's happening. Also, read up on the manuals when you're stuck. It might help ;-)
Do you have photos of the contraption? I'd really like to make one for myself.
In some cases things seem obvious and in others I think its something you need to learn. I have:
Black Varishape VCO2 - Connections - IV/OCT, EXP FM, PWM, OUT
Black Market Colour Palette - Connections - CTRL A, CTRL B, CTRL C, CTRL D, IN(1), Out(1), IN(2), Out(2), IN(3), Out(3), VCA1, VCA2, VCA3, SUM.
BASTIL GRANDPA - Trig A, Trig B, Cv In, Out
OUT - I know means what it says, But out to where?
SUM is also an out and I know its summing 3 outs on the CP where the Outs are the discreet channel.
TRIG is it an in or an out and from where?
IV/OCT, EXP FM, CTRL - same question as TRIG
Cv in, can that Come from an OUT or just Cv outs?
What is the worst that could happen if you just try plugging something in to see what happens?
Thanks! Yes, thats what tech specs said but when I measured, the case is 55mm deep but beside power supply there are the jacks placed for each module on the bottom of the case and they are approx. 15 mm tall so I guess it will be very difficult. So I wanted to know if somebody tested it and succeeded.

I believe yes if it is not placed above power supply...
The 2040 is 42mm deep and the deepest place (not on earth!!!) in the Cell[48] DC is 52mm!
Can somebody tell me does Tiptop filter z2040 fits (the depth of module) in Pittsburgh modular 48HP case?
Thanks!

Well, what I'd like is users advice
For sale? No, i do it myself.
I used a buck converter dc to dc to converts the 12v to 3v to power the po's and i removed the external plug power connector and switch.
Link to buy the converter:

You could still try google with 'site: modulargrid.net headphone amp' and add keywords to thin out.
