Cheers for the suggestions, Amount of steps would be between 8 - 16 but more than likely i can extend the length and notes with someway of patching it up. I cant say ive heard of either of them sequencers so will defo have a check.
My aim for the system is to have a complete system capable of everything, Lead, Bass transition FX etc. ill have a DFAM and a TR8s tackling the drums externally.
I feel i just need a few utility modules and maybe another few bits to fill the spaces.
