Blinkenlights MIDI Gates

Break out a MIDI signal into 16 gate outputs, either 1 per channel, or as 16 notes of a MIDI standard drum kit

• 16HP wide
• 25mm deep, skiff friendly
• 16 channel / note gate output jacks
• MIDI Clock to gate output jack (pulses 16 times per bar, when a MIDI clock signal is sent to the module)
• Gate levels: LOW = 0V, HIGH = 5V
• In '16 Channels' mode, each gate corresponds to one MIDI channel. When any note in the channel is on, the gate will be on
• In '1-Channel Drumkit' mode, you can select the MIDI channel used for the drum track, and each gate corresponds to a note from 35 (gate 1) to 50 (gate 16) on that channel. These are the first 16 drum sounds of the MIDI standard drumkit
• Drum icons and labels on the front panel show the MIDI standard drum type matching the gate, when in '1-Channel Drumkit' mode
• Manual reset button - turns all gates off manually. Just in case your MIDI signal gets interrupted
• Ideal for triggering sample players, envelope generators, drum modules etc.
• Buffered MIDI passthrough. Perfect if you want to chain another MIDI receiving device after this module. The MIDI signal input to the module, will be output from that socket at full strength and fidelity
