Up for sale, a 2008 Boss PS-5 Super Shifter, like-new and complete with the original box and paperwork. This discontinued Boss stompbox packs a ton of functionality into a compact unit, offering intelligent pitch shifting, harmonies, detuning, wild tremolo/flutter effects, and more.
The PS-5 features 5 modes: Flutter, Tremolo Arm, Detune, Harmonist, and Pitch Shifter. Flutter simulates fast or slow “slap” and “slam” of the tremolo bar when the pedal is depressed; Tremolo Arm bends single notes up or down to a pre-selected value, with option control via the expression pedal input; Detune provides slight shifting for a fatter tone; and there are independent controls for Key and Pitch. Additionally, Key Shift outputs continuous shifted tone, and there are dual outputs for stereo functionality.
This pedal is ostensibly brand new, with nary a mark on the rugged teal enclosure. The serialized foil label on the baseplate dates this pedal to January, 2008.
The original box and packaging is included, just as well-kept as the pedal itself.
