Say hello to µMIO! It will allow you to use the Intellijel MIDI 1U system in any rack, and give access to all of the signals usually only available in the 7U Performance cases. We went for a USB-C connector, which should make it easier to interface with phones/tablets. The MIDI input accepts both TRS-A and TRS-B with no user intervention, and the output and thru ports can independently be configured as TRS-A or TRS-B via switches on the back.

We started shipping these to some retailers, and have some back in stock in our webshop. It also now is available as a complete DIY kit! Even though it uses a SMT connector, assembly should be pretty easy.
