Behringer is stealing someone elses design, changing 1 or 2 minor things, and then passing it off as their own. Now, substitute "design" for "music" in that last sentence and ask yourself if you're still fine with it.

It's not about being fine with it or not. It's about keeping opinions off of ModularGrid's product listings. Would you go to the local library and tamper with books you don't agree with? Whether anyone likes a product or not is irrelevant. This is supposed to be a neutral library of Eurorack modules, let's keep it that way. Use the comment section or forum for discussion, not the product pages.

I'm not afraid and I don't think it's a great danger. It's just Behringer pulling a stunt (again). I'm no expert but I don't think the modular scene is big enough (or will it ever be) for big companies to take over and ruin it. And besides that, many modular freaks seem to want to support the smaller companies instead anyway. I have no fear at all. Just stay calm, support your favorite companies, patch on and everything will be fine.

What baffles me is the fact that certain people keep screwing around with other peoples work. ModularGrid is a wonderful tool and we can all enjoy it for free. At least have the courtesy to not ruin this place for others.

A bunch of kiddies seem to think they're in the resistance fighting for the good cause. Like Behringer actually care what goes on here.

What are you, 12? What exactly did you not understand about the previous messages? Nobody’s saying they’re supporting Behringer (and even if someone is, that’s their choice). We’re supporting the integrity of ModularGrid’s information. Keep your hurt feelings out of the database.

and it does not feel right to set a manufacturer lock on behalf of their name.

Yes, PLEASE do something about this. It's so annoying and childish. And indeed undermining ModularGrid.
