This composition is a special one for me. It's actually an evolution of an older piece.I played a version of it during my first live set.That was in Paradiso, in Amsterdam.
The set was based on a difficult time in my life.
A time when I was ill, I had leukemia. Im totally healthy and healed btw.I wanted to translate what was inside me into music. Cell divisions. Sometimes going wrong.
The rushing of blood. And how that might sound in sound waves.This composition takes you on that journey.
There’s a stormy middle part. But eventually, something like hope emerges. The melody in the beginning returns at the end.But changed, brighter.
